Successful implementation of the USAID-MWENDO OVC program within the two wards of Kwabwai and Gwasi North both in Homa Bay County. NEWI currently supports 8,606 orphans and vulnerable children within the county
NEWI enjoys a positive assessment result based on the Holistic Organization Capacity Assessment Instrument (HOCAI) done by the USAID-MWENDO partners. This demonstrates organizational capacity to manage diverse programs.
NEWI is currently running two programs, OVC program with support from USAID and Girl- mentorship program with support from LitWorld and HerStory.
